At the MRSL we focus on developing novel imaging techniques that often derive from extensions of the MR scanner by adding customized hardware. Below are a few examples of some unique imaging examples and some hardware we've developed in the lab.

Small animal imaging
Our 4.7T 40 cm magnet, with 31 G/cm gradients, is well-suited to small animal imaging.

Highly accelerated high resolution imaging
By using very large arrays of detectors and a 64 channel receiver, we can obtain both high speed and high resolution imaging. The target application here is MR histology.
RF Coil Design
A few examples of unique coil designs out of the MRSL. We design coils for MR systems ranging from .06 T to 7.0 T.
